She began to craft Let Her Go in 2016.

While powering through multiple hardships, Jay found herself in 2018 determined to continue writing and working toward completion of her book by early 2021. With the determination to finally edit her first fictional work, Jay worked diligently to deliver as promised on January 1, 2021. I remember it like it was yesterday. She promised to get this done by her birthday and that is exactly how the story plays out.
